SSC LASER APPOINTS REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - NORTH WEST

A national supplier of laser cutting solutions has appointed a new business development manager to service the North West region.

SSC Laser has brought on board Mark Preston, 35 from Bolton, to bring its steel cutting services to organisations across Cumbria, Cheshire, North Wales, Greater Manchester and Halifax.  

Tasked with opening doors to new business and securing additional sales from existing clients, Mark will use his many years of experience in metal fabrication and automotive industries to promote SSC’s laser cutting, tube laser cutting, folding, laser scanning, precision engineering and CAD/CAM services.

Mark said: “I’m really looking forward to working for this great organisation and promoting the SSC name around the North West. I’m hard working, motivated and extremely competitive so I’m confident that I’ll be able to quickly grow business in the region and help move the company forward in line with its goals for the future.”

SSC Laser is currently going from strength to strength, with sales expected to reach a record-breaking £13million by the end of 2017, and a further £17million predicted over the course of 2018.

SSC Laser Cutting currently operates factories in Staffordshire, Derby and Bristol, and houses sales offices in Scotland, the South East, South Central, the North East and now the North West.
