SSC Laser Cutting is always at the cutting edge of new technology, used in our laser profiling, scanning and CAD services. We keep abreast of all the latest developments in the sector, research our options and make informed choices to keep ahead of the game and procure only the best equipment. We have an on going commitment to investing in and developing the business for the benefit of you, the valued customer.
State-of-the-art technology allows us to be even more precise when it comes to laser cutting (flatbed, tube, box section) and pressbraking.
Our Hangar 5 facility is 28,000 square foot. The building was first commissioned in 1942 as part of the Second World War effort. When acquired in 2000, it was completely renovated, re-floored, re-clad and had new heating and power supplies fitted.
New offices were opened in July 2004, making a 7,500 square foot modern working environment.
The factory is in operation 24 hours a day to keep the capacity available for quick turnaround and high levels of service for our customers.

Services SSC Laser Cutting Provide
LASER CUTTING AND PROFILING - TUBE / BOX SECTION / ANGLE / CHANNEL
Seeing our LT8 Tube Laser Cutter in action is a marvel to behold. Golden sparks cascade from the laser as it jumps around the metal with dazzling precision.
FLATBED LASER CUTTING AND PROFILING
SSC exists to fulfil your needs – not the other way round. You can challenge us with any of your laser cutting requirements in the field of flatbed metals.
A press brake allows for the bending of sheet metals. At SSC, our finest press is a 7-axis machine that is capable of performing complex folds within rapid timeframes.
Laser scanning also has a role to play in terms of reverse engineering, given how we can compare the cut component to your original design for stringent quality control.
With our CAD service, you will be guaranteeing that your project maximises the resources available and that results are delivered with the greatest speed.
Secondary operations are ideal for supporting our core production services and there are many ways that we can help. Assembling, machining, welding, jigging, tooling, galvanising and bright zinc plating are available to help realise your final part.
